Our garlic varieties are:
Purple Turbans
The hardneck Turbans generally have a complex flavour profile making them quite popular. whether for stir-frying, sautéing, salad dressings, roasting, dips & pestos or eaten raw to get the most of allicin (the active compound in garlic) you can enjoy them from early December through to march.
Subtropical
The most prevalent plus for this variety is it’s long storage life of up to 9 months and it’s larger clove size. It’s flavour profile is good. Having a mid range strength and a hint of sweetness. Suitable for all types of dishes, it’s heat increases when eaten raw. Available from early October
